Versatile Flash Butt Welding Machine
The versatile flash butt welding machine is equipped with a pneumatic clamp with vertical cylinder attachment to provide quick and strong clamping. The flash butt welder is widely used for the welding of metal wires, rods, panels, or other metal materials with special shapes.
Features
1. Specially shaped electrode for the excellent welding of vertical butt joints
2. Welding rectifier and silicon power rectifier convert alternating current (AC) to direct current (DC)
3. A track carriage guide with two axes boasts high accuracy and wear- resistance and provides running stability to make consistent joint quality.
4. The processes of pre-heating, flashing, upsetting are all carried out by the easy-to-use microprocessor precision control
5. High Si content electrical steel sheets allow for large output direct current, which is energy saving and environmentally friendly
6. Chillers at temperatures exceeding the dew point can be set to avoid internal sweating of the machine’s transformer and silicon-controlled rectifier (SCR), which can cause an electrical short.
